501st Helps 'Jedi' To Become Stormtrooper For Halloween

Katie, the "Littlest Jedi" who other fans rallied around after hearing she was teased for liking 'a boy's line', wanted to be a stormtrooper for Halloween; her mother, who had made connections with the 501st, contacted one of their members for help. Instead of simply helping her mother to customize a store bought costume, members worldwide donated parts and materials to make her movie accurate costume a reality; they just asked that the uniform be returned afterward, so it could also be used for Make-A-Wish.
