RT-KT Confirmed To Appear In Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Albin Johnson, founder of the 501st fan group, has confirmed that R2-KT (the pink astromech named in honor Johnson's daughter, Katie, who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2004), confirms that the droid will appear in December's Star Wars: The Force Awakens. While the droid travels to fundraisers and Star Wars events across the U.S., and made an appearance in the animated Clone Wars, R2-KT will be will be immortalized in the "flesh" on the big screen when Star Wars: The Force Awakens arrives in theaters on Dec, 18th.
