More Practical Effects, Less CGI, For Episode VIII

As production continues on 2015's Episode VII, we already have an idea of what to expect with 2017's Episode VIII. Like J. J. Abrams, his successor, Rian Johnson also plans on using more practical effects over computer-generated imagery (cgi). "I think people are coming back around to [practical effects]. It feels like there is sort of that gravity pulling us back towards it."
