Deadline is reporting that Lucas and Disney have decided to put on hold the 3D releases of Episodes II-VI so they can focus on moving forward Episode VII which will be directed by J.J. Abrams. Episode I was released in 3D last year to fairly dismal box office revenues, which may also have played a role in this decision.
