Oh, and I forgot to mention Lashley as another guy that came, reached main event, and left. He would also fall in the same category as Orton, Cena, and Batista as far as receiving fast pushes to the top.

Crimson Twins I see what your saying but look at the last thing you said

Its no different then when HHH and Undertaker were on top

thats the problem they were on top and now they should be in the second to last match or the the third to last match at wrestle mania not the main events

Yeah, that is about where they should be right now, but you got to remember that the guys they had lined up to succeed them, ended up moving on in one way or another. Brock Lesnar came and went. Goldberg returned as a flash in the pan. Steiner was the same. Booker T did likewise. Granted, those last three are on the older side, but they were in the main event mix for a few minutes in their careers in WWE. Khali never really worked out because he has about as much skill as a rock. Speaking of which, Rock went on to make movies, leaving another void. Angle came and went. Jericho took his time away from the company. Eddie passed away. Austin finally went out to pasture. Benoit, well we know that story. Rey came in, got a taste, got hurt, and hasn't quite been the same since. Christian might have been getting near that level, but then he was gone before the WWE could test him out.

And out of what's left in the company, there really aren't many other options. I don't think this is a case of the old guys hanging on like Hogan. I think it's more of them still being on top because there really is no one else.

Look at how fast they shoved guys like Orton, Cena and Batista on us. Pretty much within a span of two years from their debuts they were wearing the World Title. That never would have worked in the 80's or early 90's. The company had to move fast to fill voids as they saw them developing. This is just how the business is working. When new guys have the ability (or in some cases, just the look), they'll be moving in to take those top spots. Maybe this draft will shake things up a bit. Time will tell.

According to new reports, Randy Orton doesn't need surgery for his broken left collarbone and early indications are that he will be back in around three months

Id love to see Morrison as Intercontental champion

What Id love to see at the Draft is for them to get rid of all the brand stuff and combine some belts like the world heavy weight championship and the WWE Championship

The problem with HHH passing the torch is that there isn't anyone to pass it to. Everyone is sick of Cena, and there are no younger dependable stars. Can't give it to Jeff Hardy. I'd love to see him get a title run, but face it, Jeff isn't believable and he doesn't have much of a move set. Cena was at least believable (but it wasn't believable that he held it for as long as he did...TWICE!)

I don't think they're hesitant on hardy because of his move set. I think it has more to do with the fact that he already has two strikes against him under their wellness policy. One more, and it's bye-bye Jeff. Plus, he sucks on the mic.

They seemed to be building up Regal for some real main event status, but he just found himself in the same boat with Jeff.

Kennedy looks like the obvious choice for the next up and comer to make it to main event status. He's already flirted with it on more than one occassion with the MIB win, and then when he was rumored to end up being Vince's son before he, too was suspended. Maybe his time will come.

I'd love to see HBK win it one more time. At least before he gets too old for it to be believable.

As for being sick of EDGE, BATISTA, UNDERTAKER, HHH and ORTON, who else is really left? Jericho? They killed his credibility as soon as he returned to the company. He's becoming a glorified jobber to the stars now. CM Punk? He might be able to pull off ECW champ, but he's not quite ready for the big title just yet. In fact the only other guys that I think would stand a chance of bringing a new sense of freshness to the title are stuck in the ECW title picture. And those two would be Kane and Morrison. Morrison has all the makings of a modernday 90's HBK. And Kane has some of the best in ring ability of all the big men in the business right now. But he's never really been given any credit his whole career.

So, we're stuck with the usuals. It's no different than it was when Rock, Foley, Austin, HHH and Taker were on top. Every era has their top stars that they rotate until the next batch is ready to go. That's just business.

HHHs time has come and gone its time to pass the torch

A guy Like HBK could be Champ y does it have to be HHH

HBK is a better wrestler and better on the mic

Obviusly HBKs time has come and gone also but Im saying there are others besides HHH that can be WWE Champ and have credebility

I'm totally with you on that except HBK probably isn't as good on the mic as HHH these days. 10 years ago, sure, but now I'd say HHH is just a hair better. But I would also love an HBK title reign. I think the problem is that he doesn't want it. It's been offered from what I hear. When Cena went down HBK could have easily beaten Orton for it and they even hyped him as the guy who was going to do it, but it never happened.

Personally, I think they should keep building Kennedy up.

Every week, it seems there are more and more people cheering for him.

If he can keep his nose clean, and polish up his mic skills a little bit, I'd love to see him maybe take the intercontinental title, and then work his way up to the wwe championship.
