Bespin refugee - July 21, 2018
During Hasbro's Star Wars panel at the 2018 San Diego Comic Con, they previewed a few upcoming figures in the Vintage Collection; and said some, like the upcoming Death Star Gunner and Stormtrooper take parts and reference from multiple sources. "Photo Real" will also be incorporated into the Vintage Collection starting next year. They also officially revealed the Walmart Exclusive TIE Fighter. Discussing distribution, they said by 2019, collectors should expect fewer waves, with fewer repacks. They will also be revealing more at upcoming conventions, including Unboxing Toy Convention (Mexico Aug 4-5), Canada Fan Expo (Aug 30 - Sept 2), and New York Comic Con (Oct. 4 -7).

Im completely won over and wowed by the photo print technology theyve been using... So much so that, if they sold a t-shirt, simply saying Photo Real in Star Wars font, Id probably buy it!

Back in 2007 when this figure was first made Hasbro fouled up and somehow accidentally based the figure on an image of a fan made mod. The fact that they didn't fix that for this reissue is both disappointing and infuriating.

For real? How could they think it would be OK to resell it this way? I mean, the 6" version does have the correct mask...

What's going on with Revan's mask? It looks quite different from any incarnation I've seen up to now...

My favorite from this one is the Imperial Storm Trooper. It looks really good and it has all the best Storm Trooper parts and articulation.
